The Vane-type Filter Separator is a high-efficiency gas-liquid separation and filtration system designed to remove liquid droplets, oil mist, and solid particles from gas streams. By combining inertial separation technology with vane-type separation elements, the system achieves reliable separation performance with low pressure drop and stable operation.
UNITE FILTER vane-type filter separators are widely used in natural gas processing, oil & gas transportation, petrochemical plants, chemical industries, and industrial gas systems. The optimized internal vane structure changes the flow direction of the gas, allowing liquid droplets and contaminants to separate efficiently while protecting downstream equipment.
With a compact design, high separation efficiency, and strong adaptability to various operating conditions, the Vane-type Filter Separator provides an effective solution for gas purification, equipment protection, and process reliability.

A Vane-type Filter Separator is an industrial gas-liquid separation device that uses specially designed vane packs (lamella structures) to remove liquid droplets and solid particles from gas streams efficiently.
Gas flows through a series of angled vanes inside the separator. The flow direction changes rapidly, causing heavier liquid droplets and solid particles to impact the vane surfaces, coalesce, and drain away while clean gas continues forward.
Key advantages include high separation efficiency for fine mist, compact design, low pressure drop, no moving parts, high reliability, and suitability for continuous industrial operation.
They are widely used in oil & gas processing, compressor stations, natural gas transmission, petrochemical plants, power generation, and marine applications where gas stream purification is required.
Vane-type separators rely on inertial impact and directional flow changes to remove droplets, while coalescing filters use filter media to merge fine droplets into larger ones. Vane systems are more robust and handle higher flow rates with lower maintenance.
Addressing high-pressure natural gas purification, this integrated systemcombines particulate filtration with coalescing separation to ensure the safeoperation of long-distance pipelines in extreme climates.
This duplex system ensures continuous water flow via a twin-barrel design, effectively preventing nozzle and equipment clogging caused by high-impurity mine water in both underground and surface operations.
