The Unite U-FB-T series tubular backwashing filter is a brand-new, fullyautomatic filtration system based on a modular design concept.Itfeatures high reliability and flexible expandability, durable automatedoperation, requires no manual cleaning, and is very easy to maintain. Itutilizes a unique V-UNITE filter element, ensuring thorough backwashingwith minimal backwash fluid consumption. Compared to conventionalsingle-unit designs, the tubular design is more suitable for high-viscositymedia that are difficult to backwash. This design is compact, occupies asmall footprint, and allows for the addition or removal of modules basedon flow rate requirements.
Tubular Filtration System features a robust shell-and-tube design that
efficiently handles high flow rates and high-pressure operations. It
provides stable filtration with minimal clogging, extends filter element
service life, simplifies maintenance, and ensures reliable performance in
demanding industrial environments.
The raw liquid enters the system through the inlet manifold and flowsinto each filtration unit. The raw liquid permeates the outer surface ofthe filter element from the outside in, and the clarified liquid flows tothe outlet of each filtration unit, then converges into the outlet manifoldand flows out. Particulate impurities are intercepted on the outer surfaceof the filter element, accumulating to form a filter cake. When thefiltration pressure difference gradually increases to a preset value(usually 70-130 KPa), or when the cleaning time cycle is reached, thecontrol system initiates the backwashing process, backwashing eachfiltration unit one by one. During the backwashing process, when onefiltration unit is being backwashed, the other units continue to filternormally, ensuring continuous operation of the entire system.
During filtration: the inlet and outlet valves are open, and the backwashvalve is closed;During backwashing: the control system closes the inlet valve of onefiltration unit and opens the backwash valve. Due to the pressuredifference between the inside of the filter element and the backwashoutlet (connected to the atmosphere), some of the clarified liquid fromother filtration units flows into this filtration unit, rapidly backwashingthe filter element and flushing away the impurities on its outer surface.
The flushed impurities are then discharged through the backwashmanifold.Then, the backwash valve is closed and the inlet valve is
opened to resume filtration;
The control system performs the same backwashing action on the nextfiltration unit until all filtration units have been backwashed one by one.
Multi - tube design permits various combinations of different types to match actual processing capacity.
The system supports 24 - hour continuous filtration and operates fully automatically.
The filtration equipment employs pneumatic drain valves, ensuring short backwashing time, low water consumption, environmental friendliness, and cost - effectiveness.
It's convenient for maintenance as individual components can be checked or cleaned without impacting the overall equipment operation.
During backwashing, filtration units can be backwashed sequentially, one at a time.
The filter utilizes a Siemens PLC control system, which allows for remote control operations.
