The Unite MFCD series three-in-one filtration, washing, and dryingmachine is a new generation of solid-liquid separation processequipment developed from existing filtration equipment. It allows thematerial to complete the three process steps of filtration, washing, anddrying in a single enclosed vessel, maximizing equipment utilization. Itavoidsenvironmentalpollutionandpreventsenvironmentalcontamination of the material, reduces material transfer losses, andsaves on solvent usage. It is suitable for intermittent batch production.
The three-in-one filter, washer, and dryer uses external pressure duringthe filtration process to force the solid-liquid mixture downwardsthrough the filter plate.
The solid phase is intercepted on the filter plate,forming a filter cake layer, achieving higher precision and better filtrationresults.
The thick cake accumulating in the filter may crack, affectingfiltration. A motor-driven rotating agitator continuously smooths thefilter cake and maintains its even distribution, while a hydraulicallydriven actuator moves the agitator vertically to follow the cake buildup.
After the filtration process is complete, the filter cake can be washed andrepulped using the agitator to achieve higher cake purity. Thethree-in-one system offers the flexibility of vacuum and/or hot air dryingto achieve the correct filter cake consistency. After the filter cake is dried,the side discharge valve opens. The agitator rotates in reverse, pushingthe filter cake out through the open discharge valve.
Each Unite three-in-one filter consists of four main parts: the vessel, thestirring mechanism assembly, the base plate, and the side discharge port.The largest part of the three-in-one filter is the vessel, with a frame formounting the stirring mechanism assembly at the top. The stirringmechanism is sealed to the equipment by a mechanical seal, and avertical shaft connects to horizontal blades installed at the bottom. Thestirring mechanism is driven by a motor and can rotate in either direction.
Furthermore, the stirring mechanism can be raised and loweredvertically by a hydraulic cylinder. The stirring action serves to smooth thefilter cake, resuspend the slurry, and discharge the filter cake. The baseplate supports the screen and filter plate. The side discharge uses asealed plunger port, which can be operated manually or automatically.
