T-type filters are commonly used to protect pumps or in otherapplications with low solid particle content, and offer several advantagescompared to other pipeline filter designs. Their compact design makes
them ideal for applications with limited space, and they can be installedvertically or horizontally. Furthermore, the container does not need tobe drained when cleaning the filter. They are also suitable forstraight-through or right-angle flow applications and are ideal forretrofitting existing systems.

Y-type strainers are a highly cost-effective filtration solution. Cleaningthe filter screen requires closing the pipeline and removing the strainercover for manual cleaning.
For applications with heavier dirt loads, a drain connection can be fittedto the Y-type strainer, allowing the screen to be cleaned withoutremoving it from the strainer body
Inlet: The liquid or gas to be filtered enters the filter through the pipeinlet.
Primary Filtration: The fluid passes through the filter medium (such as amesh screen, filter cartridge, etc.), and large particles of impurities areintercepted on the surface of the filter screen or inside the filtercartridge.
Filtration Process: Fine solid particles or impurities continue to be
filtered and gradually removed, ensuring the purity of the fluid.
Clean Fluid Outlet: The filtered clean liquid or gas is discharged throughthe outlet and enters the downstream system or application.
Filter Cake Formation & Backwash: As filtration progresses, moreimpurities accumulate on the surface of the filter screen or filtercartridge, increasing filtration resistance. Regular backwashing orreplacement of the filter cartridge can restore the filtration effect.
Maintenance & Replacement: When the filter's filtration efficiencydecreases or the filter cartridge accumulates a large amount of dirt,cleaning or replacement is required
