The Unite U-TC-QY gas-liquidcoalescer is suitable for separating water from natural gas. Utilizingmulti-layer coalescing separation, the filter material is treated to be bothhydrophobic and oleophobic, achieving maximum liquid removalefficiency even at relatively low pressure differentials. This reduces theliquid content in natural gas to as low as 0.003 ppmw
Gas-liquid coalescers utilize gas flow and a coalescing medium toeffectively separate liquid droplets (such as water or oil) from the gasstream. The gas flows through the filter medium, where small liquidparticles collide with the surface of the medium and gradually coalesceinto larger droplets. Because the density of the liquid droplets is greaterthan that of the gas, the droplets are separated by gravity to the bottomand eventually discharged through the drain port. The clean gas thenflows out from the top of the coalescer, carrying away minimal liquidresidue, thus achieving gas purification.
Gas Inlet: The gas stream containing droplets enters the coalescerthrough the inlet.
Droplet Collision: The gas stream passes through the coalescing medium(such as a fiber mesh or filter element), and the small liquid particles(droplets) come into contact with the coalescing medium and collidewith each other.
Droplet Coalescence: Small droplets coalesce into larger dropletsthrough collisions.
Droplet Separation: Due to gravity, the larger droplets separate from thegas stream and flow to the liquid discharge area at the bottom.
Gas Outlet: The clean gas exits through the outlet, carrying away verylittle residual liquid.
Liquid Outlet: The coalesced liquid is discharged through the liquid outletand can usually be recovered or processed.
This process can be used in fields such as oil and gas, chemicalengineering, and petroleum refining to remove water or oil from gasesand improve gas quality.
