Project Background:

A prominent Japanese-invested trading company in the Dalian Development Zone focuses on providing advanced environmental and fluid treatment equipment for high-standard international chemical clients. In this project, the end-user (a large-scale chemical plant) required purification and reuse of high-flow circulating cooling water generated during production. As circulating water easily accumulates impurities like sediment, rust, and algae, these contaminants can lead to a significant drop in heat exchange efficiency and increased corrosion risks if not filtered effectively. Based on the high-quality requirements for export to Japan and international markets, the trading company selected our fully automatic filtration technology.

Core Challenges:

  • Uninterrupted Operation Demand: Chemical production lines operate 24/7. The filtration system must perform self-cleaning and blowdown without interrupting the water flow.
  • High-Standard Quality Control: As an export project, the equipment must comply with international manufacturing standards, including welding strength, control precision, and anti-corrosion treatments.
  • Complex Impurity Composition: Circulating water contains various suspended solids and is prone to seasonal fluctuations (e.g., algae outbreaks), requiring the filter to have high adaptability and cleaning efficiency.
  • Intelligent Remote Control: The client required a high level of automation, providing real-time operational feedback and seamless integration with the factory's central control room.

Our Solution:

Addressing the circulating water reuse conditions of the chemical plant, we provided a modular fully automatic self-cleaning filtration unit:

  • Suction/Brush Self-Cleaning Technology: Equipped with high-precision stainless steel wedge wire screens and a motor-driven cleaning mechanism. When the pressure differential reaches a threshold, the cleaner activates automatically, removing impurities from the screen's inner wall within seconds with minimal water consumption.
  • Full-Process Automation Control: Integrated high-end PLC control cabinets support "differential pressure, timer, and manual" trigger modes. Operational parameters are displayed on a touch screen in real-time, with support for remote communication protocols.
  • Industrial-Grade Corrosion Resistance: Considering the risk of chemical corrosion in circulating water, the vessel underwent specialized anti-corrosion treatment, and internal core elements were made from high-performance wear-resistant and anti-corrosive alloys.
  • Export-Compliant Manufacturing: Assembled and tested strictly according to export quality standards, ensuring high reliability during installation, commissioning, and long-term operation.

Customer Value & Results:

Since the successful export and commissioning of the filtration system, the clarity of the chemical plant's circulating water has improved significantly. The cleaning and maintenance cycle for heat exchangers has been extended by over 50%, drastically reducing unplanned downtime. The fully automated blowdown control achieved zero manual intervention, helping the end-user transition to a "Digital Green Factory." The Dalian trading company highly commended our product quality and response speed, and both parties have reached intentions for further cooperation on multiple international export projects.
