In processes such as gas processing, petroleum refining, and chemicalprocessing, clean, mist-free gases are crucial for the reliability andeconomic efficiency of the equipment. The Unite U-TC-QY gas-liquidcoalescer is suitable for separating water from natural gas. Utilizingmulti-layer coalescing separation, the filter material is treated to be bothhydrophobic and oleophobic, achieving maximum liquid removalefficiency even at relatively low pressure differentials. This reduces theliquid content in natural gas to as low as 0.003 ppmw

A Gas-liquid Coalescer is an industrial separation device designed to remove fine liquid droplets (such as oil, water, or hydrocarbons) from gas streams by merging tiny droplets into larger ones for easier separation.
Gas flows through a coalescing medium where fine liquid droplets collide and merge into larger droplets. These larger droplets then separate from the gas phase by gravity or secondary separation elements, resulting in cleaner gas output.
Key advantages include high efficiency in removing fine mist and aerosols, protection of downstream equipment, improved gas quality, low pressure drop, and reduced maintenance costs.
Gas-liquid coalescers are widely used in oil & gas processing, natural gas transmission, petrochemical plants, compressor stations, power generation, and chemical industries where gas purification is required.
A gas filter mainly removes solid particles, while a gas-liquid coalescer is specifically designed to remove liquid aerosols from gas streams. Many industrial systems combine both functions for higher purification efficiency.
Addressing high-pressure natural gas purification, this integrated systemcombines particulate filtration with coalescing separation to ensure the safeoperation of long-distance pipelines in extreme climates.
This duplex system ensures continuous water flow via a twin-barrel design, effectively preventing nozzle and equipment clogging caused by high-impurity mine water in both underground and surface operations.
