The fully automatic backwashing filter is a highly efficient watertreatment device that utilizes automatic backwashing technology toeffectively remove suspended solids and particulate matter from water.
Its working principle is based on the fact that when water flows throughthe filter element, impurities are trapped on the surface of the filter.
When the accumulated impurities on the filter element reach a certainlevel, the filter automatically initiates a backwashing process, usingreverse water flow to flush away the impurities from the filter element,and then resumes normal filtration. This process requires no manualintervention, significantly reducing maintenance costs and maintaining astable filtration effect.
This type of filter is widely used in industrial water treatment,wastewater treatment, irrigation, and water supply systems, and isparticularly suitable for applications requiring continuous operation, lowmaintenance, and a high degree of automation
1. The filtration equipment utilizes a patented internal mechanicalstructure, achieving a true backwashing function that thoroughlyremoves impurities trapped by the filter screen. Cleaning is completewith no dead spots, and wastewater discharge is consistent, ensuringfiltration efficiency and a long service life;

5. Backwashing and wastewater discharge are continuous, withoutaffecting outlet pressure, and with minimal wastewater volume;
6. The backwashing cycle is short.
The fluid containing impurities enters the bottom chamber (1) of thefully automatic filter. The fluid velocity decreases in this chamber, andthe fluid continues to flow upwards, passing from the inside out throughthe specially arranged and sealed filter element assembly (2) in the filterchamber. Impurities are intercepted on the inner surface of the filterelement, and the filtered clean fluid flows out through the outlet (3).Backwashing is accomplished by utilizing the pressure differencebetween the pipeline pressure and atmospheric pressure. When thedifferential pressure transmitter (4) is drivento rotate by the motor (5), and the drain port (6) opens. At this time, thedrain port is connected to the atmosphere, creating a pressuredifference. The clean fluid on the outside of the filter elementbackwashes the filter element assembly. The backwashing suction deviceselects the dwell time for each filter element assembly based on theimpurity characteristics and backwashes each set of filter elementassemblies in the filter chamber one by one.When the differential pressure returns to its initial value, the drain valvecloses, the motor stops driving, and the filter continues to filter. Theentire process is continuous, and the backwashing water volume is small,without affecting the outlet pressure.The control system (7) can be remotely controlled by DCS, and thebackwashing time is adjustable.
Fluid enters the filter and solid particles are captured by the filter element.
When preset pressure or time is reached, the system automatically initiates backwashing.
Removed particles are flushed out through the drain outlet.
Differential pressure is continuously monitored to detect filter contamination.
Clean fluid flows in reverse direction to remove trapped contaminants from the filter surface.
The system resumes normal filtration without interrupting operation.
