Fully automatic backwashing filtration systems are widely used inmodern chemical production plants. They integrate with electricalsystems, instrumentation, and valves to achieve automatic filtration andbackwashing operations, controlled by a DCS or PLC system. The systemcan be designed as a single filtration unit or an A/B switching filtrationsystem. The filter uses sintered metal membrane materials as thefiltration element, effectively filtering and removing micron orsub-micron particles from the liquid.
