The humid gas enters the separator through the inlet and begins adownward centrifugal motion due to the swirling flow. Solid and liquid impurities are separated out due to the decrease in velocity. The separated liquid and solid impurities fall into a liquid collection chamber designed with unique VCP baffles, preventing secondary contamination.
The clean, dry air flow is then directed directly to the outlet by the VCP.This eliminates the need for expensive and fragile conventional separatorbaffles.
(A) The gas and liquid entering the vessel are diverted by an inlet baffleto remove large droplets and free-flowing liquid.
(B) The gas and remaining mist then enter a vane separator.
(C) The separated droplets are collected at the bottom of the vanes.
(D) A submerged drain pipe drains the liquid to the bottom of the vessel.
(E) A level gauge controls and monitors the amount of collected liquid forproper drainage from the vessel.
