The Unite MFCD series three-in-one filtration, washing, and dryingmachine is a new generation of solid-liquid separation processequipment developed from existing filtration equipment. It allows thematerial to complete the three process steps of filtration, washing, anddrying in a single enclosed vessel, maximizing equipment utilization. Itavoidsenvironmentalpollutionandpreventsenvironmentalcontamination of the material, reduces material transfer losses, andsaves on solvent usage. It is suitable for intermittent batch production.

Product Highlights

The side discharge valve uses a metal-to-metal hard seal or an FEPsealing ring soft seal;

To ensure the sealing performance of the side discharge valve, it is equipped with an automatic or manual sealing surface cleaning device;

Two, three, or four mixing impellers can be installed to improve mixing and drying efficiency and discharge speed;

It can be used in combination with airflow drying to improve drying efficiency;

Quick-opening automatic locking device or C-ring bolt secures the main flange;

The filter medium is a multi-layer sintered metal mesh, single-layer metal or non-metallic filter cloth;

Double-end face or non-contact mechanical seals are suitable for chemical or sterile processes; Complete CIP and SIP system;

Manual or fully automatic residual material discharge device;

Complies with CGMP and FDA standards.

Operating Standards

Pre-Startup Check

  • Inspect filter vessel, cartridges/elements, seals, valves, and instrumentation.
  • Ensure pressure gauges, flow meters, and level indicators are functioning.
  • Confirm filter elements are clean and correctly installed.

 System Startup

  • Close discharge and outlet valves.
  • Start feed pump gradually, raising pressure to design operating level.
  • Check for uniform liquid flow through all three filtration stages (coarse, fine, final).

 Normal Operation

  • Maintain stable pressure, flow, and filtration sequence.
  • Monitor differential pressure across each filter stage; clean or replace elements as needed.
  • Take periodic filtrate samples to ensure consistent quality.

 Shutdown Procedure

  • Stop feed pump, slowly open outlet valve to drain filtrate.
  • Open discharge valves to remove solids or filter cake.
  • Clean and sanitize all filter elements and housing.

 Safety & Maintenance

  • Wear proper PPE (gloves, goggles, protective clothing).
  • Regularly inspect filter elements, seals, valves, and instrumentation.
  • Record operation parameters, including pressure, flow rate, filtrate quality, and cleaning cycles.
