Water injection plays an important role in reservoir pressure maintenance and enhanced oil recovery. However, injection water often contains suspended solids, corrosion products, oil droplets, bacteria-related deposits and other contaminants that can block formation pores, damage injection pumps and reduce long-term well performance.

Recommended Filtration Equipment
Automatic backwash filters and self-cleaning filters are suitable for continuous removal of larger suspended solids in high-flow water injection systems. For finer filtration requirements, microporous filters, cartridge filtration systems or multi-stage filtration skids can be used after pretreatment.

Water Injection Filtration Skid Design
A complete water injection skid may include coarse filtration, fine filtration, automatic cleaning, instrumentation, control panels and piping integration. The system is designed around water quality, target filtration accuracy, injection pressure and required flow rate.
