The Unite U-CL-V leaf filter, also known as a pressure leaf filter or thickener, uses filter discs as the filtration elements. The filter discs are mounted on the main shaft and rotate at a low speed during operation. The filtrate passes through the filter layer from both the upper and lower surfaces of the discs and flows into the internal channels of the filter discs.
Solid particles, such as catalyst particles, are retained on the surface of the filter discs, gradually forming a filter cake layer. The clarified liquid flows through the hollow main shaft and is discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the vessel.
A scraper system continuously controls the thickness of the filter cake on the filter discs, enabling high-precision cake filtration while reducing the rate of resistance increase and maintaining stable filtration performance.
Pressure leaf filters are highly efficient, reliable, versatile, and environmentally friendly filtration solutions widely used in industrial processes. Their key advantages include improved product quality, enhanced production efficiency, and compliance with strict industry standards.
Scalable Filtration Area
The vertical stacking arrangement of filter leaves provides a large and flexible filtration surface area, maximizing filtration capacity and efficiency.
Continuous Closed Operation
The system supports enclosed filling, filtration, cake discharge, and cleaning operations, enabling continuous processing with minimal interruption.
Wide Application Versatility
Pressure leaf filters are widely applied in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and other industrial sectors, providing reliable filtration solutions for various process requirements.

A Horizontal Leaf Filter is a closed pressure filtration system that uses horizontally arranged filter leaves inside a pressure vessel to separate solids from liquids. It is widely used for high-capacity industrial clarification and slurry filtration.
The slurry enters a sealed horizontal tank under pressure. Liquid passes through the filter leaves while solids are retained on the surface, forming a filter cake. After filtration, the cake is discharged using vibration, air blowback, or backwashing.
Key advantages include large filtration area, high throughput capacity, efficient cake formation and discharge, closed operation to prevent contamination, and suitability for automated batch filtration processes.
Horizontal leaf filters are commonly used in chemical processing, petrochemical refining, edible oil production, metallurgy, wastewater treatment, and fine chemical industries where high-volume solid-liquid separation is required.
Horizontal leaf filters provide larger filtration capacity and are better suited for high-solid or high-volume slurries, while vertical leaf filters are more compact and often easier to install in space-limited systems.
Pressure leaf filters and candle filters are both industrial solid-liquid separation systems widely used in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and fine chemical industries.
A pressure leaf filter is an industrial solid-liquid separation system designed for efficient filtration of high-solid-content slurries.
Integrated, fully automated filtration and drying solutions ensure aclosed-loop, zero-leakage production environment for high-purity chemicalprocessing
