Unite uses multiple small-diameter cyclone separators to separate smalland large particles. Depending on the application, my cyclone librarycontains up to 200 units. The choice of 2" or 4" diameter cyclones willdepend on the system's gas flow rate.

Unite Multi-Tube Separators

The structure of Unite multi-cyclone separators is designed to withstandyears of abrasive wear, making them robust and durable for variousairflow applications. For corrosive gas applications, key components ofthe Unite cyclone can be manufactured from corrosion-resistant steelalloys. Unite multi-cyclone separators require no maintenance and haverelatively low initial costs. Vertical and horizontal configurations areavailable.

Unite vortex tube separators offer superior performance in a range ofapplications, including removing condensate from airflow, removingentrainment after distillation or absorption processes, and removingliquids from interstage and final discharge stages in reciprocatingcompressors.

Operating Standards

  • Pre-Startup Check
    • Inspect leaves, filter cloths, valves, and seals.
    • Ensure gauges and instruments are functional.
    • Clean or rinse leaves and cloths.
  • Startup
    • Close discharge and outlet valves.
    • Start feed pump gradually to operating pressure.
    • Ensure leaves are wetted and air is removed.
  • Normal Operation
    • Maintain stable pressure and flow.
    • Monitor pressure differential; clean or replace leaves/cloths if clogged.
    • Take periodic filtrate samples.
  • Shutdown
    • Stop feed pump, drain filtrate slowly.
    • Open discharge valve to remove filter cake.
    • Clean and sanitize leaves, cloths, and housing.
  • Safety & Maintenance
    • Wear PPE (gloves, goggles, protective clothing).
    • Inspect equipment regularly.
    • Record operation parameters (pressure, flow, filtrate quality).
